A limited version of the F2 with top plate, bottom plate, back door and prism cover made of titanium. The exact number of units produced is unknown.

There were two major variants of this limited edition:

  • earlier variant: without the inscription, serial numbers starting with the prefix "F2" and followed by the number 92xxxx. Only several hundreds were made, according to Nikon;
  • later variant: with the inscription "Titan", serial numbers starting with the prefix "F2T" and followed by the number 79xxxx.

According to Nikon, a few units were also marketed in 1978. Their titanium cover was not suited to professional use because the light color stood out too much and was too reflective.
