A small system consisting of Mamiya/Sekor CP (CWP for the US market) 35mm SLR camera introduced in August 1964. It was a fully mechanical camera with instant-return mirror and a window exposure meter.
A small number of M42-mount lenses were released for the CP, some of them had automatic diaphragm, others were preset lenses. They can be distinguished from later models for the TL/DTL series cameras by the "Mamiya-Sekor" marking instead of the ("Auto") "Mamiya/Sekor".
