A 35mm full-frame mirrorless system based on the L mount created by Leica in 2014. Cameras and lenses for this system are designed and manufactured by the alliance of three companies: Leica, Panasonic and Sigma.
SL prime lenses are compact and fast, and deliver outstanding performance. Their speed enables a wide range of photographic options, for instance the creative use of depth of field to isolate subjects from the foreground and background. Pictures captured with SL prime lenses also reveal the unmistakable bokeh for which Leica lenses are renowned.
