A special limited Nikon D60 Black Gold camera released in September 2008. It had shiny gold-plated strap lugs, gold-colored icons on the mode dial, soft gold-plated shutter button and a D60 badge. The camera body was accompanied by a "Gold Edition" strap. The exact number of units produced is unknown.
