From the editor
When focusing at infinity, the front element is deeply recessed inside the lens barrel, which eliminates the need for a lens hood. When focusing towards the closest focusing distance, the front element within a lens tube extends outside the lens barrel a bit.
Notes
- The autofocus will not be available with Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3000-D3500, D5000-D5600 digital SLR cameras.
