Japan Limited Edition: MP Anthracite
Leica proudly presents a special edition MP exclusively for the Japanese market. This is the first time that the Anthracite finish has been applied to the M camera. This special paint finish requires a hand-applied process and is highly durable.
The camera is sold as a set with a matching Anthracite Leicavit in a limited quantity of 600 pieces. In addition, Leica offers a Summicron-M 35mm/f2 ASPH. in satin chrome finish. The delivery of the lens includes a matching Anthracite lens hood and a black chrome lens hood (made of metal). The lens package is sold in a limited quantity of 400 pieces.

The highly exclusive Leica MP Anthracite special-edition model was designed especially for the Japanese market. Its lacquering is entirely hand-applied, and is resistant to abrasion. The camera is available as a set, with a Leicavit in anthracite, in a limited edition of 600 units. Individual examples are also available outside Japan.
The LEICA SUMMICRON-M 35 mm f/2 ASPH. in a silver chrome finish is the ideal complement to the MP Anthracite. The set includes an anthracite lens hood and a silver chrome metal lens cap. These lenses are limited to a production run of 400.
