From the editor

A special limited LEICA M6 0.72 camera released in 41 units in 1988 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Leica Historical Society of America.

According to the LHSA bulletin VIEWFINDER Vol. 22 No. 2, 22 silver chrome units and 19 black chrome units were made.

The engraving on the top plate included the Society's logo, together with the dates "1968" and "1988" either side of it, and a special serial number, e.g. 20-15, in which the "20" denotes 20 years, and the second number identifies the camera in the series of 43 cameras which were ordered.
