The silver edition sports acanthus leaf motifs, engraved in silver by Comyns, whose hallmark dates back to the 17th century. The graceful intricate curves of the motifs evoke the elegance and grandeur of the Victorian age.

***

Judging by the rare photos, the pewter-covered body was supplied with a silver Summilux-M 50mm F/1.4 ASPH., while the so called "silver" body - with a black one. Both were of modern barrel design with focusing tab, not retro-styled like most special limited editions of the last years.
