Manufacturer description

Ideal for portraits, street photography, including low-light conditions, and fast-moving subjects requiring short shutter speeds.

The lens's 9-blade aperture is almost perfectly circular, allowing for spectacularly blurred backgrounds. Its fast, constant speed ensures ease of use, provides precise control over depth of field, and delivers excellent results when shooting in low light, such as indoors.

Small dimensions and weight, as well as bayonet connection with cameras of various types create convenience for amateur and professional shooting. Fast speed allows shooting in low light and getting sharp photos. The lens will be a good assistant in the field of portrait and landscape photography.

From the editor

Accessory short telephoto lens for APS-C SLR cameras. The only Russian lens for APS-C cameras, the fastest Russian lens for SLR cameras and the very first completely new optical design since the USSR. Announced at the Consumer Electronics & Photo Expo 2015 (April 9-12, 2015) and manufactured by the Krasnogorsky Zavod named after S.A. Zverev (Russia).

The "S" in the lens name means "spherical", i.e. there are no aspherical elements in the optical system.

The lens is available in versions with "dumb" Nikon F or Canon EF mounts and is completely manual: there is no autofocus, aperture control and focusing are carried out using the corresponding rings on the lens barrel.

Weighing in at 680g, the lens is heavy, and this is despite the fact that the barrel is made of durable plastic, not metal.

When selecting an aperture value, only the stops indicated on the aperture ring are available; intermediate values cannot be selected.
