MS Optics Apollon 36mm F/1.3 MC
Wide-angle prime lens • Digital era • Discontinued • Collectible
Abbreviations
MC | Multi-layer anti-reflection coating is applied to the surfaces of lens elements. This anti-reflection coating increases light transmission, eliminates flare and ghosting, and maintains color consistence among all lens models. |

From the editor
Compact and lightweight all-purpose lens for travel, snapshots, close-up photography. Due to coma, contrast is reduced wide open, as with other double Gauss derivatives, but at F/2-F/2.8 coma disappears; both contrast and sharpness are excellent across the entire image from F/2.8. All elements in the optical system are multi-coated and made of ultra-high refractive index glass. The minimum mark on the focusing distance scale is 0.8m, but according to the manufacturer, the lens can focus down to 0.3m.
