From the editor
A very compact standard lens designed by Leitz for the Leica CL (1973). Minolta, upon receiving the prototype, came to the conclusion that the lens was not up to Minolta standards in terms of the optical performance, and requested Leitz to submit a redesign which resulted in the SUMMICRON-C 40/2.
For description of accessories, please refer to the page dedicated to the SUMMICRON-C 40/2.
