A compact standard lens for Kiev-17, 20, 19, 19M series 35mm SLR cameras. One of the best Soviet 50mm lenses. It was produced by the Arsenal Plant (USSR) in versions with different markings: 81М or 81Н, 2/53 or 2/50, with or without МС. The earliest name was ГЕЛИОС-81М 2/53 (1978). All these versions were identical both optically and mechanically.
After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the lens was sold under the name "ARSAT H 1:2 50mm".
