From the editor
A rare Soviet ultra-wide-angle lens, the prototype of which was shown in the magazine "Советское фото" ("Soviet photo") in 1988. It was produced in small batches by the Krasnogorsk Mechanical Plant (USSR/Russia) approximately from the early 1990s to the mid-2010s. The lens has an automatic diaphragm in the versions with M42, Nikon F and Pentax K mounts. The version with the Canon EF mount most likely has a manual diaphragm.
In 1998, the Jupiter Plant (Russia) released its own screw-mount version of this lens with the same optical formula, but a new design of the lens barrel.
