An improved version of the 50/1.8, which received a metal mount, shorter closest focusing distance of 0.35m, larger focus throw, and a focusing distance scale. According to the manufacturer, the speed and accuracy of autofocus have also been improved, and the multi-layer coatings have become more advanced. The filter size has increased from 52 to 58mm. The optical formula remains the same.

During focusing, the front element extends beyond the lens barrel by approximately 2cm. During autofocus, the manual focusing ring rotates and should not be touched, otherwise the micromotor may be damaged.

The lens does not have a USB port, but the firmware can be updated via the camera.

The white version was announced in August 2018.
