The Viltrox 50 mm F1.8 wide-angle lens is designed for Sony E-Mount mirrorless camera, and when used with APS-C format cameras, it has the equivalent perspective of a 75 mm lens.
Bright f/1.8 maximum aperture suits working in low-light conditions and also affords greater control over depth of field.
The lens adopts a "STM+Lead screw" stepper motor and the mechanical structure is simple. It can achieve quiet and smooth autofocus when shooting stationary objects or movies.
The simple structure makes it easier to miniaturize the drive unit, as the sound during autofocus is suppressed, it is better for movie shootingm, support eye auto focus easily detect and track moving subjects in time.
ln the design and manufacturing stage, the factors that cause color bleeding are under well control to achieve excellent resolution and soft bokeh.
