Manufacturer description
The ТЕЛЕАР Н photographic lens is intended for use as an interchangeable lens for КИЕВ-17, КИЕВ-19 and КИЕВ-20 small-format SLR cameras.
The lens is a long-focus five-element optical system and allows you to get high-quality photographs when shooting portraits, sports, architectural ensembles; photographing plants, animals, birds, as well as reportage shooting from long distances.
The lens is equipped with a device for automatically setting a pre-selected aperture value, which allows viewing and focusing at fully open aperture. The device is kinematically connected to the camera and fires after pressing the shutter release button.
The design of the lens mount, marked with the letter "Н", allows it to be used when working with cameras of the NIKON type.
The kit includes an adapter, with which the lens can be used for shooting with ЗЕНИТ-type cameras with M42x1 thread mount and a working distance of 45.5 mm (in this case, aperture presetting is not available).
Light transmission: 0.80. Resolving power, mm-1, no less than: in the center of the field: 50; at the edges of the field: 30.
From the editor
The lens was produced by the Arsenal Plant (USSR) since approximately 1981 (in the magazine "Советское Фото" this year was indicated as the year of the planned start of production of the lens). At some point, production was also launched at the Progress Plant (USSR).
