The Multi-purpose 2X teleconverter is what its name implies. First, this multicoated, four element lens doubles your focal length. Also, by removing the bayonet mounted optical element grouping, you discover a 30mm automatic extension tube. With this exciting option you can produce fascinating macro close-ups with any lens, and extend even further the close-focus ability of lenses with macro.

Soligor auto teleconverters are constructed of the finest, fully color-corrected optical glass and are supplied in specific mounts for all popular 35mm SLR cameras.
They attach quickly and easily to all fixed focal length and zoom lenses of 50mm or longer, extending the focal length of the lens with which they are being used by 1.5X, 2X or 3X.
Soligor auto teleconverters also effectively increase the magnification ratio of lenses with macro capability.
They retain the automatic coupling of both shutter and aperture metering systems (on cameras featuring these systems) and automatic diaphragm operation.
