Medium format 6x4.5 rangefinder system · Discontinued
Overview
A small medium format 6x4.5cm system consisting of three compact and lightweight Fujica Professional series cameras with fixed lenses of different focal lengths and remarkable performance, released in 1983-84:
- GS645 (1983) - a collapsible-mount bellows type rangefinder camera with the EBC Fujinon-S 75/3.4;
- GS645W (1983) - a non-folding viewfinder camera with the EBC Fujinon-W 45/5.6;
- GS645S (1984) - a non-folding rangefinder camera with the EBC Fujinon-W 60/4.
Either 15-exposure 120 or 30-exposure 220 roll film can be used. The Copal #00 shutter is located in the lens and offers shutter speeds from 1 to 1/500th of a second + T. It lets you shoot with electronic flash at all speeds. The top hot shoe and front X-sync socket permit usage of any type of strobe. All models are equipped with exposure meter located inside viewfinder (GPD photocell). Light is measured at the center of the viewfinder. A 3-point LED manual exposure control system simplifies high-speed shooting. The viewfinder also contains bright line frame and parallax correction marks. The cameras are powered by LR44 batteries.
