Manufacturer description
The "Big Bertha" of the Komura line of fine lenses is the 800mm f/8.0. This lens is literally long enough to cope with "astronomical" distances, such as shots of the moon or missile tracking. It is invaluable terrestrially for the extreme "reach" so often sought after in wild-life, scientific and industrial photography. Excellently designed mechanically, the 800mm f/8.0 is easily set up on a tripod and provision is made to position the camera for either horizontal or vertical exposures.
For SLR cameras, this lens fits an unusually broad range of popular makes via screw-on adapters.
For RF cameras, the lens in its basic mount screws directly into the reflex housing.
