Manufacturer description #1
KOMURA TELEPHOTO LENSES REQUIRING ADAPTERS
The five Komura lenses from 200mm f3.5 to 800mm f8 fit more than thirty different make reflex cameras by means of a unique interchangeable adapter mount system. They fit rangefinder cameras having Leica thread type mounts with the Komura Reflex Housing. In addition, these lenses also fit 16mm movie cameras with "C" mounts.
ADAPTERS
Komura telephoto lenses, from 200mm f3.5 to 800mm f8 use a unique interchangeable adapter system which allows them to fit a variety of 35mm reflex cameras. One end of the adapter screws on the rear of the lens, and the other fits the specified camera mount. Since many reflex cameras have similar mounts - any given Komura lens, such as the 400mm f6.3 - may fit several different make 35mm cameras by the use of one adapter.
Manufacturer description #2
Komura lenses from 200mm f/3.5 to 800mm f/8 are "basic lenses". With the specific adapters, these lenses can be used interchangeably on a wide range of single lens reflexes, rangefinder cameras with reflex housings and "C"-mount movie cameras. Each adapter fits onto the rear thread of a Komura Basic lens. Only one adapter is needed to fit several different focal length Komura Basic lenses. No adapter is required when using a Komura Basic lens on the Komura Reflex Housing. The lenses screw directly into the housing. For the Visoflex II, there is a special adapter.
Manufacturer description #3
Many professionals and advanced amateurs regard the 200mm f/3.5 Komura as their standard long telephoto lens. Its well-balanced lens mount design makes hand-held shooting possible, despite its focal length. The f/3.5 aperture makes candids in interiors one of the subjects that are easy to tackle with this lens. Excellent results can also be obtained in candid portraits, small details in distant landscapes and general shooting where approaching the subject closely is not possible.
For SLR cameras, this lens fits an unusually broad range of popular makes via screw-on adapters.
For RF cameras, the lens in its basic mount screws directly into the reflex housing.
Manufacturer description #4
The Komura 200mm f/3.5 lens is remarkably light and small. The f/3.5 maximum aperture makes this a really fast lens with extraordinary "reach" and well balanced construction for easy handling. Constructed in a special short mount for reflex focusing on rangefinder cameras via the Komura Reflex Housing.

Thanks for the info! Managed to remove the M42 adapter, and currently am trying to remove the silver m42 part from the rest of the adapter (not sure it’s even possible!) so I can use the uni-P for another Komura lens.
