- Komura Interchangeable Lens Guide (1963).
Manufacturer description
The 135mm f/3.5 Komura is a moderately-priced lens having enough speed for most photographic situations. It combines light weight plus plenty of "reach" for distant subjects such as architectural details, portraits, landscapes, travel shots and industrial work. Despite its relatively long focal length, this and other 135mm Komura lenses are balanced to make rock steady "hand-held" shots easy.
Available in mounts for a broad range of SLR and RF cameras.
From the editor
A Direct Mount lens that was available for a number of SLR mounts. For a complete list of cameras/mounts, please refer to the page dedicated to the W-Komura 35/2.5 lens.
The 1963 brochure shows a Triplet type optical formula, but newer brochures indicate that the 135/3.5 lens consists of 5 elements.
Later, a version with an interchangeable mount (so called "Unidapter" system) was released.
