Manufacturer description
A "medium" telephoto lens with more than twice the image size of a lens with a normal focal length. Eminently suitable for portrait photography, but also for sports photography or for shooting precise details from a distance.

The lens was produced under the following names:
- Rolleinar-MC 1:2.8 f=105mm - made by Mamiya
- VOIGTLÄNDER COLOR-DYNAREX 2.8/105 AR - made by Mamiya
The reason for the release of this lens in different names was that Rolleiflex SL35 series cameras were sold under the name Voigtlander in a number of markets.
Optically the lens is based on the Auto Mamiya/Sekor SX 105mm F/2.8.
