Same lens as the Sigma 300/4.5 APO:

  • The XR RIKENON weighs 1050g and the Sigma is 10g lighter, while the dimensions of both lenses are identical: ⌀74x193mm;
  • Both lenses accept 67mm screw-in filters and are equipped with built-in telescopic lens hood;
  • According to Sigma, the optical formula is 8 elements in 6 groups, while Ricoh states it's 8 elements in 5 groups. Sigma's information should be correct, given the fact that the company is the actual developer of this lens.
