From the editor

A fairly heavy and large ultra-wide-angle lens, which, in addition to a wide field of view, has a fast speed of F/2.8, which is useful when shooting interiors. Landscapes and architecture are often shot at medium to long focusing distances, but this lens has a closest focusing distance of just 0.43m, allowing for unusual close-up shots of small subjects. The optical formula contains many special elements, which have a positive effect on the correction of geometric distortion and chromatic aberrations. Despite the very wide field of view, it is possible to use 82mm screw-in filters, and a large petal-shaped lens hood is also available, which, for some reason, uses an outer thread.

The lens was also sold under the name "Cheecar FF 14mm F2.8".
