Pentacon also announced the availability of certain lenses made by Sigma in the Praktica mount with electrical contacts for relaying diaphragm information to the camera. The lenses are to bear the Prakticar name, and will include: 28-mm f/2.8, 135-mm f/3.5, 70-105-mm f/3.5, and 100-200-mm f/4.5. The Tamron selection should include the entire line, since they have developed a Praktica B adapter, complete with electrical contacts.

From the editor

Introduced at Photokina 1982.

The lens was produced by SIGMA for Praktica B series 35mm SLR cameras. Optically it is identical to the Sigma Mini-Wide MF 28/2.8.

There was also a "PM" version with the M42 screw mount instead of the Praktica B mount.
