Manufacturer description #1
This super wide-angle lens is the smallest and lightest to be found in 21mm F3.5 lenses - 1/3 as large as its counterparts in volume. Its compactness and ease-of-operation were widely acclaimed by many professional photographers. It takes a 49mm filter (usually a 72mm is used for conventional lenses of this class), which is very convenient because the filter can be commonly fitted to most OM-System lenses. More important, the lens has epoch-making capabilities. Due to the newly introduced lens construction, the lens provides unusually high resolution with excellent contrast all over the picture. Since optical aberrations are well corrected, the lens displays superb definition even at close focusing distances. The wide picture angle (92 degrees) is ideal for architectural and interior photography and its exagerrated perspective is useful in producing dramatic effects.
