January 9th, 2021 - NiSi is excited to introduce their first camera lens – 15mm F4 Wide Angle Lens. It is a manual focus lens designed for full-frame mirrorless camera systems. The aperture of this lens contains 10 straight blades, which allows for sunstars from F4 to F22 and optimal image quality throughout. It breaks the paradigm of requiring a small aperture to create a sunstar.
The NiSi 15mm F4 Wide Angle Lens adopts a precise optical design, retaining high image definition from the center to corners and ensuring minimal chromatic aberration, distortion and vignetting. Its lens elements are made of optical glass and comprise of a double-sided aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements.
The lens also utilizes anti-reflection film technology in order to improve light transmittance and reduce lens flare and stray light. It features a 112° field of view, which is wider than the regular angle of view at the standard 15mm focal length and equivalents to that at 14.5mm focal length. The minimum focal distance of this lens is 0.2m, which can create a stunning visual impact for close-up foreground subjects in your images.
The NiSi 15mm F4 Wide Angle Lens is very compact with a streamlined appearance. The all-metal construction offers it durability and safety, and its paint etched logo and marks showcase a classic feel of cinema. The lens utilizes hard surface coating technology to improve the toughness and waterproofing of its elements. Its focus ring handles smoothly allowing comfortable and accurate adjustments.
The lens is available for mirrorless camera mounts including Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z and Fujifilm X. It also supports the standard 72mm circular filter and 100mm filter holder system, which allows you to easily experience and enjoy the use of filters while shooting.

April 21st, 2021 - NiSi has released the Leica L-Mount version of the 15mm F4 Wide Angle Full-Frame ASPH Lens. Now the NiSi 15mm F4 Lens is available for mirrorless camera mounts including Sony E, Canon RF, Nikon Z, Fujifilm X and Leica L.
The NiSi 15mm F4 Lens combines a compact form factor with an ultra-wide field of view, making it the perfect companion for landscape, seascape, night, architecture, interior and nature applications. The wide 112° angle of view is combined with an advanced optical design, which includes aspherical, and low dispersion elements, to achieve a well-corrected, sharp, and color-accurate image. The lens has a manual focus design and allows working with subjects as close as 0.2m/7.87″ away.
The lens elements are made of optical glass and comprised of one double-sided aspherical element and two extra-low dispersion elements. It features minimal chromatic aberration, minimal distortion and vignetting. It utilizes anti-reflection technology in order to improve light transmittance and reduce lens flare and stray light. NiSi’s hard surface coating technology improves the toughness and waterproofing of glass elements.
