From the editor

The introduction of the AF F501 camera brought about the first AF version of the 50mm lens, the 50mm f1.8 AF. These first generation AF Nikkor suffered from a number of drawbacks including very narrow focusing rings.

Notes

  • The autofocus will not be available with Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3000-D3500, D5000-D5600 digital SLR cameras.
