From the editor
Very rare ultra-wide angle lens. Until up to the introduction of the Nikon AF Nikkor 14mm F/2.8D ED lens in 2000 this was the only option for those who needed an ultra-wide angle prime lens with focal length beyond 20mm. It was too expensive for most photographers at the time, though. After introduction of fast wide-angle zoom lenses in the mid 2000s this lens could not longer provide significant advantages over them, for this reason it was discontinued by Nikon.
Notes
- The autofocus will not be available with Nikon D40, D40X, D60, D3000-D3500, D5000-D5600 digital SLR cameras.
