Auto Miranda EC series
A cosmetic update of the sixth generation of Miranda lenses designed for Auto Sensorex EE, dx-3, RE-2, EE-2 35mm SLR cameras with the Miranda mount. Introduced with the dx-3 in 1974.
- Robust, all-metal design; lighter and more compact than the E series;
- Bayonet mount;
- Internal fully automatic diaphragm;
- Internal exposure meter coupling;
- Support for TTL open-aperture metering;
- Accurate manual focusing with rubberized focusing ring;
- Single-layer anti-reflection coating;
- Accept smaller 49mm screw-in filters (except 80-200mm, 135mm, 200mm lenses);
- Built-in telescopic lens hoods (except 28mm, 35mm, 55mm Macron lenses).
From the editor
More compact, lighter lens compared to the E 55/2.8, with only one helical instead of the elaborate double helicals of the previous model. The magnification ratio of 1:1 was available with a special extension tube.
