Auto Miranda E series

The sixth generation of Miranda lenses designed for Auto Sensorex EE, dx-3, RE-2, EE-2 35mm SLR cameras with the Miranda mount. Introduced with the Auto Sensorex EE in 1972.

From the editor

The Miranda Auto Sensorex EE instructions states that the lens consists of 6 (six) elements in 5 (five) groups, whereas the Miranda booklet by Interstate Photo Supply Corporation states that the number of elements is 5 (five) and the number of groups is 4. At the same time, the booklet provides an image of the optical formula, consisting of 4 (four) elements in 4 groups.

The Miranda Sensorex-II instruction manual (in Japanese) indicates a different optical design (4 elements in 4 groups) and a shorter closest focusing distance of 2.5m.
