The МИР-38Б lens expands the possibilities of working with КИЕВ-6С and КИЕВ-6С TTL cameras. It is a wide-angle six-element optical system and allows you to take high-quality photographs when shooting sports scenes and architectural ensembles, as well as when shooting in tight spaces.
The lens is equipped with a diaphragm preset mechanism, which allows viewing and focusing at full aperture.
Light transmission: 0.80. Resolving power, mm-1, no less than: in the center of the field: 42; at the edges of the field: 20.

The МИР-38В lens expands the possibilities of working with САЛЮТ-С and КИЕВ 88 cameras.
The МИР-38В lens is a wide-angle six-element optical system. It allows you to take high-quality photographs when shooting architectural ensembles, landscapes, sports scenes. The lens is especially needed in cases where there is a lack of space for shooting.
The lens is equipped with a device for automatically setting the aperture to a pre-selected value. The device is kinematically connected to the camera and fires when the shutter release button is pressed.

An improved, more compact version of the Mir-3 65/3.5 lens.
The lens was produced both by the Arsenal Plant (Kiev, USSR) and Vega Plant (Uman, USSR).
The following versions were available:
- МИР-38В 3,5/65 - with the Hasselblad M60x6 screw mount (a predecessor of the Hasselblad V bayonet mount);
- МИР-38Б 3,5/65 or MIR-38B 3,5/65 (for export) - with the Pentacon Six bayonet mount.
