From the editor
A standard lens that Meike classifies as a professional model and promises high resolution that will satisfy the most stringent standards. The lens has fairly standard specs for its class, but as a nice touch it has a physical aperture ring with Auto-Exposure setting and a focus mode switch. The lens lacks weather sealing, but at least there is a protective gasket around the mount (which the manufacturer was embarrassed to mention in the description).
Although the lens does not have a record-breaking speed, it is enough to shoot in low light conditions, as well as isolate the subject, smoothly blurring the background. When stopping down, 9 aperture blades will keep the out-of-focus highlight's a more rounded shape.
The lens is equipped with a stepping motor, providing quiet and fast automatic focusing.
At the rear of the mount there is a USB Type C connector, through which the lens firmware is updated.
