Manufacturer description
The 300mm f/5.6 is an unusually compact long telephoto, maintaining a 58mm filter size common to most Mamiya 645 lenses. The 300 f/5.6 performs extremely well at all apertures due to the use of Mamiya's ultra-low dispersion glass to eliminate chromatic abberation. It can be combined with the 2X Tele-Extender for use as a 600mm f/11 lens. Applications include telephotography, landscape, wildlife, sports and fashion photography, where compression effect is desired.
