Manufacturer description #1

Similar to the 210mm f/4.5, the 250mm f/4.5 combines two lenses which use ultra low dispersion glass with one that uses anomalous dispersion glass, thus producing similar image quality, with less chromatic aberrations.

The 250mm also features high contrast and resolving power. Spherical aberrations and fluctuations to curvature of the field during short distance photography have been remedied, preventing image deterioration. Pincushion distortion is less than 1%.

Manufacturer description #2

The 250mm f/4.5 utilizes ultra-low dispersion glass and computer aided seven element, five group design to eliminate chromatic abberation common to telephoto lenses over 200mm focal length. Resolution, color reproduction and overall sharpness are enhanced at all apertures because chromatic abberation is eliminated. Applications include wildlife, sports, landscape, industrial, fashion and beauty.
