Manufacturer description #1

A bright, high performance lens with an aperture of f/3.5, the f/3.5L exhibits the superior characteristics of a Gauss type lens. With four corner distortion as small as -0.1%, its high contrast and resolution from the center to the periphery of the picture area results in minimal image quality deterioration even during close-up photography.

Manufacturer description #2

The 127mm f/3.5 is an excellent, all purpose normal lens. Its slightly long normal focal length makes it superb for close-focusing, portrait head shots, and three-quarter length portraits. Applications include general purpose photography from landscapes to portraits and close-up photography with the RB's built-in bellows or added extension tubes.

Mamiya K/L series

The third generation of lenses designed for Mamiya RB67 series medium format 6x7 SLR cameras. Introduced with the Mamiya RB67 Professional SD in 1990.

  • Newer designs optically identical to the RZ67 M series lenses;
  • Mechanical Seiko #1 leaf shutter;
  • All shutter speeds up to 1/400 sec. synchronized automatically for electronic flash;
  • Fully automatic diaphragm;
  • Multi-layer anti-reflection coating;
  • Standardized 77mm filter thread mount for optimized handling with accessories.
