Key Features:

  • Continuous focusing from infinity to as close as 2.3' from the film plane. No need for mechanical change normal zoom to macro.
  • Provides up to one-half life size reproduction at 200mm position covering a subject area as small as 1.8"x2.7" and without refocusing can be zoomed to 80mm position to cover an area of 4.7"x7.1" or one-fifth life size.
  • Compact and lightweight - only 6.2" long and 29.3 ounces in weight.
  • Positive full and half click stops from f4 to f16 for precise manual aperture control.
  • Fully automatic exposure control with open aperture, thru-the-Iens (TTL) metering. Positive "AE Lock" prevents unintentional switching to manual operation.
  • Konica Color Dynamic Coating reduces flare and increases contrast and color saturation throughout the visible spectrum.

I have a question. Will this lens fit a Nikon D3100 camera?

No, it will not fit due to shorter flange focal distance of the Konica AR mount (40.5mm) compared to the Nikon F mount (46.5mm). Lenses with Konica AR mount will only fit mirrorless interchangeable lens cameras by the means of dedicated adapters.

This is a remarkable lens. I picked one up for $20 at a flea market (mostly because it was $20), adapted it to a Fujifilm X-E3 (APS-C, so the 35mm equivalent would be 120-300mm), and discovered that at 200mm and the minimum focus distance of 70cm, it’s a macro lens in all but name. Great for flower and insect pictures.

bought mine when I worked at BMC between 1978-1983. I have adapted it to my Canon DSLR’s and it works fine manually. It is great for close up flower and insect pictures especially. Was one of the best zoom lens made in it’s time.
