Irix 15mm f/2.4 is a unique lens, which in the version designed for DSLR cameras has already won the recognition of many professionals and photography enthusiasts. First of all, because of its unique features, excellent workmanship and image quality. Its latest version, designed for Sony mirrorless cameras, is an even more improved design.

The most important feature of the Irix 15mm f/2.4 lens is its focal length of 15 mm. This very short value allows you to record extremely wide frames, which is invaluable in landscape, interior, or architecture photography. This lens provides a wide field of view while maintaining proper perspective. This makes objects in the foreground appear larger and the background appear farther away. This is a great tool for photographers who want to experiment with perspective and create unique shots. What’s more, this lens is also great for Astrophotography, so you can capture beautiful nightscapes.

• Compatible with Irix Edge IFH-100 Filter Holder – allows you to expand your creativity thanks to Gradual Neutral Density filters with different gradients: Soft, Hard and Reverse

Dragonfly version

The Irix 15mm lens is also characterized by a solid construction (Dragonfly finish version). The body is made of magnesium aluminum alloy combined with a high-quality composite. This ensures durability and resistance to weather conditions with relatively low weight. Dust and moisture resistance mean you can confidently use this lens outdoors, even in harsh atmospheric conditions.

A slightly modified version of the lens originally designed for digital SLR cameras. It features the Sony E bayonet mount plus a ~3cm rear tube to compensate for difference in flange focal distances.
