From the editor
Chiyoko (or Chiyoda Kogaku, later Minolta) made 2 versions of this lens. The first has a 40.5mm filter ring and stops down to f/16, and the second has a 43mm ring. Some copies of the second version had the red "C" on the front ring, and some lacked the "C". Also, some copies of the second version had minimum apertures of f/16 and others of f/22.
Both versions appear optically the same, based on weight, sizes of the elements, and the images they produce.
