From the editor
One of the first retrofocus wide-angle lenses for 35mm SLR cameras. The lens was calculated in 1952 and patented in DDR in 1953.
The manufacturer description mentiones a version with semi-automatic diaphragm - it was available for Exakta and Praktina mounts, and not for the M42 screw mount.
Lenses with similar focal length
Comments (1)
I have a Flektogon Type 1 but it has no filter thread (the nameplate ring takes all the thread) and it also has a 12-blade diaphragm instead of 9.
