This is a fast 100mm lens that inherits the high performances of Canon FL 100mm F/3.5 lens. Its telephoto ratio is very small, and its overall length is 57mm, which is the size of standard lenses. The various aberration corrections are almost perfect to offer preeminent image-forming capabilities.

This is a fast speed 100mm lens which inherits the high performance of the FL 100mm F3.5 lens which is the sharpest of all Canon telephoto lenses. Its telephoto ratio is very small and has an overall length of 57mm, which is almost equal to the length of standard lenses. The outstanding feature of this lens is that it boasts high performance despite its standard lens length. The various aberration corrections are almost perfect and this lens has pre-eminent image-forming qualities.
