Manufacturer description
The "Зоркий-5" camera is a modern design of a small-format film camera with a lever for cocking the shutter.
This camera is designed for a wide variety of photography and can satisfy the various requirements of both amateur and professional photographers.
The use of a lever for simultaneous cocking of the shutter, rewinding the film by one frame, and counting the exposed frames makes the camera more convenient to use compared to previous releases of Zorki, as it allows the photographer to quickly prepare for shooting and take a series of photographs without removing the camera from eye.
CAMERA SPECIFICATIONS:
The camera is available with one of three lenses:
- "Индустар-26М"
- "Юпитер-8"
- "Индустар-50"
Each of these lenses has its own advantages: the first two have a larger (maximum) aperture, the third has a slightly higher resolution across the entire frame.
The optical design of the lenses - anastigmats with coated optical surfaces and an internal iris diaphragm.
Focal length: 5cm.
Angular field of view: 45°.
Relative aperture scale:
"Индустар-50": 1:3,5; 1:4; 1:5,6; 1:8; 1:11 and 1:16;
"Индустар-26М": 1:2,8; 1:4; 1:5,6; 1:8; 1:11; 1:16 and 1:22;
"Юпитер-8": 1:2; 1:2,8; 1:4; 1:5,6; 1:8; 1:11; 1:16 and 1:22.
Closest focusing distance: 1m.
Working distance from the flange to the image plane of objects at infinity (focal plane): 28,8mm.
Diameter for attachments (hoods, filters, auxiliary lenses, etc.): 36mm for "Индустар-50", 42mm for "Индустар-26М" and "Юпитер-8".
Thread for screw-type attachments (filters and auxiliary lenses): 23x0,5 for collapsible "Индустар-50" lens, 40,5x0,5 for "Индустар-26М" and "Юпитер-8".
Photo format - 24x36mm on 35mm perforated film.
Capacity of the cassette - 1.65m of film, number of pictures with one loading - 36.
The curtain shutter provides instant shutter speeds of 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250 and 1/500 sec.
In addition, there is a "B" shutter speed, obtained by hand, and the ability to set a long shutter speed.
The shutter speed can be set both when the shutter is wound and when it is not wound.
The shutter of the camera is cocked by the lever which is mechanically connected with simultaneous film winding to the next frame and frame counter.
An optical rangefinder with a 67mm base is mechanically coupled to focusing.
The optical viewfinder and rangefinder are combined and share a common eyepiece.
The cassette is metal, detachable, light-proof, and automatically opens when the lid of the device is locked.
The mounting thread of the lens socket is standard, the same for all cameras and fits all lenses of Zorki cameras - both main and interchangeable ones.
