From the Popular Photography magazine (1970)
Some manufacturers keep price stable but eliminate expensive features. Others add trifles, change camera designation a bit, and slip in 10 percent average price hike. Some work it both ways. [...] Petri V6 - II justifies $8.50 increase by means of cordless accessory shoe and plastic guide number window.
From the editor
As the Petri V6, but with a built-in hot shoe.
It appears that some V6 bodies were factory upgraded to V6 II, while the lettering "PETRI V VI" on the back plate remained unchanged.
The weight and dimensions are indicated for the camera body with the 55mm F/1.8 standard lens.
