Manufacturer description

Outstanding features of "PETRI FLEX 7"

Built-in Fully-coupled CdS Meter

Just center the needle in the viewfinder to the indication, and you can get proper exposure EVERY TIME. This is because that your Petri Flex 7 camera is equipped with CdS Meter which fully coupled with Film Sensitiveness, Aperture and Shutter Speed simultaneously.

This CdS Meter has vast coupled range (L.V. 4 ~ L.V. 18 with ASA 100 film) and the measurement angle of meter is almost same as the one of standard lens, you can obtain the proper exposure from the very position of photographing the subject. Thus, the CdS Meter has versatile features which other types of meters have not.

Fully-Automatic Diaphragm System

As you release the shutter button, the camera DOES the following actions Automatically and Instantly:

1. Sets the proper aperture value.

2. Pushes the mirror upwardly.

3. Advances shutter-screen to expose film.

4. Returns the mirror to original position.

5. Gives the lens back to fully-opened position.

Quality-engineered Shutter for High-speed Photography

Focal-plane shutter of Petri Flex 7 can be adjusted in the range of shutter speeds: B, 1, 1/2, 1/4, 1/8, 1/15, 1/30, 1/60, 1/125, 1/250, 1/500, 1/1000 sec. and you can photograph the subject in high-speed. Shutter Dial is the type of one-pivot non-rotation and selftimer is also built-in.

Automatic Resetting Film-Counter

You do not have to worry about setting the film counter even when loading film as it automatically returns to its original position.

Micro-Image Focusing System

In addition to Easy and Bright Viewing of Penta Prism Viewfinder, you can focus instantly when looking through micro-image which magnifies the image in focus. One of the advantages of micro-image focusing is that you can focus quickly even in the dark place.

One-stroke Film-Advance Lever

With single stroke of film advance lever (180°), you can advance one frame of film and can set the shutter simultaneously. Only when you advance the lever, the CdS Meter is set ON.
