From the editor

A Japanese Leica copy, produced by Kogaku Seiki in very small quantities from 1943 to 1946 by order of the Japanese Ministry of War. Differs from other Nippon cameras in the absence of the rangefinder and slow shutter speeds. The camera body was accompanied by the collapsible K.O.L. Xebec 50/2 standard lens, which was later renamed Sun Xebec.
