From the editor
A Japanese Leica copy produced by Nicca Camera Company from 1956 to 1957. Rough estimates suggest that no more than 4,000 bodies were released in total. A budget model without a hinged back, dioptre adjustment, and with a top shutter speed reduced to 1/500th of a second. The camera has a light alloy die-cast body with a matte chrome finish and rounded corners. There is a single PC sync socket (F.X) on the back of the top plate, with automatic switching of sync type. The camera body was accompanied by the rigid Nikkor-H 50/2 standard lens.
