Manufacturer description
The New 6x4.5cm Format Camera Built for Fast-Action Photography.
Fuji Opens Up Fresh Creative Horizons for You.
True Compact, Lightweight Handling Ease.
The Fujica GS645 Professional establishes new medium format camera performance standards. Now serious photographers have the speed and flexible ease to handle fast-action shooting.
Fuji integrates the best of 6 x 4.5cm format advantages with compact 35mm camera maneuverability in the Fujica GS645 Professional to create remarkable performance on a total basis. Either 15-exposure 120 roll film or 30-exposure 220 can be used. Through the bright viewfinder, framing and focusing are quick, sure and easy. Even in low light situations. A 3-point LED manual exposure control system simplifies high-speed shooting. And advanced Fujinon lens technology assures superior detail resolution and shutter reliability.
Today's foremost choice for ease, speed and medium format picture quality. The superb Fujica GS645 Professional.
Wide 6 x 4.5cm Format
Here's one case where bigger definitely means better. Frame size is nearly three times that of 35mm film. The larger frame area assures greater clarity of minute details in enlargements. Bigger enlargements are also possible. The 6 x 4.5cm format matches photographic paper proportions for maximum printing convenience and no-waste economy. You can use either 15-exposure 120 roll film or 30-exposure 220.
EBC Fujinon·S f = 75mm Lens
Since lens design decides detail resolution quality, Fuji has brought its wealth of professional large-format camera lens technology into play to create remarkable performance. Five precision optical elements combine to assure excellent small detail resolution. The sharp Fujinon·S difference becomes especially evident in big enlargements.
Lightweight & Compact
Weighing only 820 grams, the Fujica GS645 Professional ranks as the lightest in the class. Carrying ease is further enhanced by a collapsible lens and side mounted strap eyelets. The slim, compact body integrates a palm grip that enables sure, steady handling at high speed. Vertical and horizontal frames can be shot with equal ease. Best of all, the Fujica GS645 Professional is rugged enough to withstand plenty of hard usage.
Fast-Action Range Finder
You are ready for quick, accurate shooting. This well-balanced range finder camera features a brilliant, uncluttered viewfinder. At the right is the bright 3-point LED exposure control display. Through the large viewfinder you have a clear, wide field of view. So, greater low light visibility and less eyestrain are assured. Focusing is by simple double-image superimposing. The parallax correction marks show you what is within the frame to eliminate picture cutoff.
Professional Lens Shutter
A limitless range of flash shooting techniques is possible. The versatile lens shutter lets you shoot with electronic flash at all speeds, not just one or two fixed speeds as on a 35mm camera. Daylight synchro, highlight tone effects and fill-in for strong back-light scene techniques give you greater choice of creative opportunities. The top hot shoe and front X-sync socket permit usage of any type of strobe.
3-Point LED Exposure Meter
Thanks to the sensitive built-in GPD photocell manual exposure control system, adjusting to changes in lighting is quick and easy. A 3-point LED indicator guides you. There is no need to take your eye from the viewfinder. Light is measured in the center of the viewfinder with a light touch of the shutter release button. It's fast and sure for beautiful results.
Self-Cocking Ease
Worries about accidental double exposures are eliminated. The lens shutter is cocked at the same time you wind the one-touch film advance lever. Operation is truly as easy as using a 35mm camera. You hardly know the Fujica G8645 Professional is 6 x 4.5cm format.
