Asahi Auto-TAKUMAR series
The second generation of lenses designed for Asahi Pentax 35mm SLR cameras with the M42 screw mount. Introduced with the Asahi Pentax K in 1958.
- Robust, all-metal design with aperture ring and depth-of-field scale usually in chrome finish;
- Semi-automatic diaphragm;
- Extremely accurate manual focusing with knurled focusing ring;
- Single-layer anti-reflection coating.
