Manufacturer description
The PCS ARSAT 3,5/45 (PCS - Perspective Control by Shift) is designed for professional photography with medium format SLR cameras: КИЕВ-6С, КИЕВ-60, КИЕВ-88, ARAX, PENTACON SIX, САЛЮТ.
This wide-angle lens is a complex eight-element, high-speed optical system producing high quality photographs.
The lens has a mechanism for shifting the optical system in parallel to the film plane. It provides the photographer the ability to correct the perspective. In architectural and product photography, such lenses allow to obtain unique results, usually available on large-format cameras.
The lens has a multi-layer coating that improves image quality and increases contrast by enhancing integral light transmission and decreasing the dispersion of light.
