A compact and lightweight pancake lens optimized for point-and-shoot street or travel photography: the aperture is fixed at F/5.6 and the only control on the lens barrel is the focusing ring. With a pedestrian speed of F/5.6, the lens will only be suitable for shooting in good lighting conditions; otherwise, you will have to increase the ISO setting, which can in some cases degrade the image quality. The wide field of view also makes this lens convenient for amateur landscape or architectural photography, while the short closest focusing distance of 0.30m allows you to take wide-angle shots of small subjects with an unusual perspective. Overall, this lens will certainly find its place in the hands of an amateur photographer, but the lack of aperture control will somewhat limit creative possibilities.
NOTE 1: The manufacturer's website states that the lens hood fits into the filter thread, but we doubt that a lens hood is available for this lens: it has a very wide angle of view, and such a lens hood would cause mechanical vignetting.
NOTE 2: The lens page on the manufacturer's website shows two versions of the optical formula - they are identical except for the fact that one image shows two high refractive index elements, while the second image lists them as aspherical elements. Since the description of the lens does not mention any HRI elements, but it is repeatedly stated that the lens has ASPH elements, most likely the correct optical formula is the one with the ASPH elements.
